Development Department Welcomes New Director of Annual Giving

Fred J. Landry, Jr., was recently appointed as the new Director of Annual Giving for Centenary College. He will oversee the Great Teachers & Scholars Annual Fund and all annual gifts to the school. Fred holds a BA from Tulane University and most recently served as Executive Director of Institutional Advancement for his high school alma mater, Archbishop Rummel, a Catholic all-boys secondary school located in Metairie, Louisiana, for the past 3 years. There he managed a comprehensive advancement program including annual giving, strategic planning, alumni relations, special event planning and institutional marketing. He also served as Alumni Director at Rummel for eight years. From 1989-1996, Fred was Director of Development at Archbishop Blenk High School, an all-girls Catholic high school in Gretna, LA, and oversaw the establishment and growth of the school's development office and staff. He is the father of two boys, Michael, 17, who will be attending LSU this Fall, and Scott, 13, who will be an eighth grader at Archbishop Rummel High School for the coming school year. Welcome Fred!
